We recently had a quick chat with the owner and creator of Casa Tigre. A soon-to-rise grub n' pub for people who are looking to find a home outside of their home.
He gave us an insight of how the name came about, his inspiration, what he wants to achieve and how it's going to contribute to the culture.
What's story behind the name "Casa Tigre"?
Hmmm. "Casa Tigre" is a spanish phrase which translated to english means "house of tigers".
I've always wanted to keep my closest people beside me ever since. I wanted to have a roof I can share with my family and friends so I ended up making this project.
And knowing tigers, Always on the move, hungry and invincible. Its the perfect symbol to represent the youth today.

What can we look forward to when entering this house of tigers?
Cold beers and cheeseburgers!
Haha we focused on greasy food which we can all just dive into.
Obviously, we are fatasses ourselves.
From local merch to household items, good music to local gigs.
Since we all have friends from different genres, we're looking forward to having casa as a platform for aspiring musicians and artists.
And that skatebowl as promised! Woop!

What kind of atmosphere does Casa Tigre have?
Laid-back, warm and come-at-able would be the perfect words to describe it.
Nothing beats a cold beer on a sunny day, and who says you can't have breakfast at night? Casa is and always will be your house too.
Mi casa, es su casa.

What was your initial vision for Casa Tigre?
To build what is needed to be built, a community.
Inspired individuals who share an interest for food and insightful conversations. With shared opportunity and construction of progressive mindset. We'll make sure that it will lead to the growth of individuals involved within the process, thus making great leaders in the future.
It's a little bit early but what is your favorite thing about this place?
Growing up around loud bars and clubs, I've always dreamed of a place where I can just close my eyes, listen to good music and munch on good food. The city never really had a place where you can just grab a cold beer and chill while being able to do your homework and just feel like home.
He he! So we're bringing it to you!
Not to mention the good food we serve. The place itself is a conversation starter.

With the curent pandemic currently plaguing the world, have your plans changed at all? What does 2020 look like?
Ahhh. GCQ, I couldn't really tell. But we'll make sure to entertain you guys whole year round. New menus monthly, and new friends for sure! We're planning to open our doors before the month ends! Make sure to drop-by and give us a wassup!
For now, please give us a follow on all our social platforms for updates!
